Is a Black lab mix and is approximately one year old. We rescued her from the Wood County pound about a month ago. She is a super sweet girl and loves to go for truck rides. We have had her updated on her shots, heartworm and she still needs to be spayed. She gets along with the other 5 dogs at the sanctuary. Jada is going to need someone who will be able to spend some quality time with her. I would suggest that she is enrolled in a doggie obedience course, as she is still young and needs to learn who walks who in the relationship. She will sit and even shake a paw if asked…..Of course she performs better for treats! Free to approved home…Must also sign a will spay contract.
January 5, 2006……Update to follow soon
One male and one female dog and all of their offspring if not spayed or neutered can have approximately 4 372 offspring, in a period of 7 years. There are approximately 65 000 000 dogs in the United States and only about 18% (8 000 000) of the 65 000 000 have permanent homes. The other 57 000 000 are in Humane societies, County pounds, sanctuaries or running wild in the streets. 35 to 60 percent of these dogs will be euthanized.
